First Church of God encourages you to get involved in small group fellowship, as well as and men's or women's studies.

Small Groups
The purpose and goal of small groups is to bring couples and individuals together to develop relationships not limited to Sunday mornings. These groups meet in homes around the Defiance area. Each has a balance of fun social time and study/discussion time. Topics may include spiritual growth, marriage, and family, just to name a few.

Men's Programs
The men’s groups are exclusively designed for men who are seeking to build relationships with other men who desire God’s leadership in their lives. God created each man to be the head of their home and a leader in their church and community. The best way to pursue these things is to allow Him to lead you and to fellowship and pray with other Godly men.

Women's Programs
Women’s groups are specifically designed for women to grow in their relationship with the Lord and with one another. God desires women to encourage and pray for each other. In the women’s groups the women bond deeply and lift up one another in the Lord. Whether you are single or married, have kids or not. . . . whether you are still “wet behind the ears” or “have had some significant life experience”, this is the place for you!
